Before starting the project construction, you must know how the construction will start and what is the proper method to complete the construction. Steps of Construction
Location is very important for building a project. Always choose the ideal location, that has all the basic needs localities nearby with the proper supply of Gas, Water, and electricity. When you are going to start construction then follow the given steps to deliver a lavish project.
Step # 01 Clear the Location
Clear the location, where you are going to start construction to avoid any hurdles. Free the site from any debris and obstruction that may cause a delay or disturbance in the construction. All the required staff and materials should be gathered first. Supply of electricity and water must be good and construct the site perimeter fence around your project.
Step # 02 Staking and Site Layout
Staking is one of the traditional ways to make the layout grid of a building that uses the batter strings, board, and wooden frames for the string’s suspension. X and Y planes are represent by these strings, which help you throughout the construction. In both directions, reference lines are fix.
The Gate level is mark off by setting the reference points with the help of the grid lines. Surveying instruments or theodolite is used to construct the grids. It is not to make the grid lines as you want. It is done according to plan, in which the reference points are mark depending on the size and complexity of the projects. Not disturb the building construction and also not dislocate by the building construction.
Step # 03 Excavation
After clearing the location and placement of gridlines, the next step is Excavation, massive activity. But before this soil testing is essential. After soil testing, you can excavate the land as much as the Soil investigator allows you. But for the safe side the minimum excavation level for the footing to rest. Step #04 PCC laying & compacting
After reaching the excavation level, its compacting will be done by the crushed gravel. It is add layer by layer until the required degree of compaction is reach. Must be check step by step to achieve a degree of compaction less than 95 of the maximum dry density. Once it has been done, then the next step is to do the treatment of anti-termite, done by the plane concrete and laying of PCC. Its thickness is almost 10mm lean concrete for the footing rebar and levels it.
Step # 05 Foundation and Column
Rebar foundation is the next step to do. The column beams are placed for the structural schedule with the proper framework. The starting bars and the columns are fill with concrete and also covered. Step # 06 Concreting
Concreting the foundation and rebar installation is the hardest task, and needs more concentration. The concrete that is pour should vibrate properly and masses spread completely in the installation of footing. Before the form works the concrete should be placed properly 50mm above the plinth level. And secure the rebar from environmental effects and corrosion because of sulfate attacks
Step # 07 Bitumen & Column concreting
After the concreting, apply the paint on the stub columns and let it dry completely. Two coats of bitumen paint are a must to apply. The paint helps the columns to stay moisturised and save the soil from seepage in the concrete of the substructure.
Step #08 Perimeter block set:
Along the perimeter lines & edges install the solid blocks. This is done to make the boundary in or out of the project edges. This block placement is helpful in leveling the inside floor and outside floor levels. After this, two more bitumen paint coats are applied. This step is optional at the places where the soil characteristics are stable & firm.
Step # 09 Compacting and Backfilling
After the complete foundation structure, and installation of solid blocks, compacting and backfilling will be done. In this process, the main goal is to meet the degree of compacting that is, reaching the bottom of the tie beam level.
Step # 10 Beam Reinforcement
The Thai beam reinforcement is prepare and installed according to approved floor plans. After that, the concrete cover will also be done on the grade slab mesh. Multi Garden B-17 is the best place to invest nowadays.
Step # 11 Columns Concerting
Reaching this step, the substructure component is complete. Now next is to focus on the concreting & rebar works shuttering. Must check the installed concrete-filled columns must follow the structural schedule and the level should be vertical to maintain the
Step # 12 Slab and beam works
After the completion of the ground floor columns, it is time for the suspended slabs and beams. It should be done strictly and anchored properly
