Origin of Tea Leaves
Camellia Sinensis is the only plant species that produces tea leaves. Although herbs and botanicals brewed with hot water aren’t technically tea, the term “tea” is commonly used to refer to them. Evergreen trees native to Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, and Vietnam’s north are called tea plants. Most tea plants grow in Yunnan Province in China and Nagaland in India.
