RCMC is an According to the Foreign Trade Policy, RCMC (Registration-Cum-Membership Certificate) Certificate is a certificate issued by the recognized under APEDA Act. It is a certificate issued by the central government or the Recognized Export Promotion Councils, etc. The RCMC certificate ensures that an exporter is a debonair member of the specified Export Promotion Council. RCMC is a Certificate issued five years by the Export/Import Promotional Councils or commodity board in India. If you want to start a business as an exporter, you should register with export and import authorities in India. To avail of the benefits of India’s Foreign Trade Policy, an exporter needs to have a Registration Cum Membership Certificate (RCMC). The RCMC Certificate is mandatory for any person intending to export from India any of the specified scheduled products to any country other than Singapore, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Australia, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Canada, Britain, USA, Russia, Brazil, Sri Lanka, and Gulf Country. RCMC Certification helps you export your product hassle-free as it acts as a registration certificate of an exporter. These are the fees and validity of RCMC: (I) For an RCMC valid up to Years – Rs.5000 + GST TAX (Govt. of APEDA).
RCMC Registration is required for exporters to export all scheduled products to any destination country outside India. During registration of RCMC, the exporter also needs to get registered under Goods and Service Tax (GST). The RCMC Registration certificate allows the exporter to access benefits and services offered by the Government of India. The RCMC Certification comprises vital details such as the exporter’s name, address, registration number, validity period, and eligible items under its purview. RCMC Certification is an essential Document for which all Indian exporters are not only eligible but also required. It is necessary to have an RCMC Certificate for import and export businesses in India. RCMC Registration Procedure: –
Step 1 Sign-up >> APEDA.gov.in >> Register as Member” on Home Page.”
Step 2 Fill the Form (IE Code, Company Name, Email ID, Mobile Number, Capture & Submit Button).
Step 3 An OTP (One Time Password) for confirming the details will be sent on E- mail and Mobile number >> Verify the Both & Submit to proceed for application.
Step 4 After filling the fields, the exporter can save the information in between by using the Save button. The exporter can edit the filled data until online payment is not made.
Step 5 The exporter may submit registration fees of Rs. 5000 + GST Tax.

Step 6 After completion of Payment process an application number will be generated. Please note the application number for future reference.
Step 7 Following documents are required with application form:

- Self-certified copy of Import-Export code issued by D.G.F.T.
Step 8 After the approval of RCMC from APEDA officials, exporter may take printout of their Certificate through their APEDA Login under the heading of “View RCMC Certificate” under RCMC Menu.
