The Engine
The Tata Nexon gets its power from a 1.2 liter 4-cylinder diesel engine with 90 kW of power and 220 Nm of torque. It’s one of the best engines in the category,
delivering tons of punchy throttle response as well as plenty of low-end torque to get you off the line quickly and effortlessly. In terms of fuel economy,
it achieves 6.3 kilometers per liter in the city and 4.6 kilometers per liter on highways–above average numbers for this class of car!
The Renault Kiger engine only has 81 horsepower under its hood, but that doesn’t stop it from being a sporty little number with decent acceleration from a stop.
Fuel efficiency was not impressive at all (4.1 kilometers per liter), so you might want to keep your expectations lower than what they would be if you had an automatic transmission instead of a manual gearbox.
All things considered, both cars are quite fun to drive and offer some pretty good performance specs for their respective classes.
The Cost
The Tata Nexon starts at a more affordable price than the Renault Kinger and has a better fuel economy. However, it also lacks cargo space.

What Other People Say About Them
The Tata Nexon, a great little car that won’t break the bank. It has lots of space, great pick up and is good on gas. The only negative reviewers say is that it lacks power in comparison to some other cars and would be less ideal if you’re driving in snowy conditions.
On the other hand, the Rengotek Kigar, which starts at $16K but can cost as much as $24K (depending on model). The biggest draw back with this car might be with storage
– since it has a four-seater cabin, there’s no room for carrying anything bigger than luggage behind the front seats. Nevertheless this isn’t likely to bother most drivers!
If you like gadgets, then these are the car for you. Plenty of connectivity features mean that this could be your next dream ride.

Safety Features
The Tata Nexon has three Airbags and two Isofix Child seats in the back, in addition to ABS brakes.
The Renault Kigen also has ABS brakes and two Isofix Child seats, but it only has one Airbag instead of three.
The front of the Tata Nexon has no airbags for protection. Meanwhile, the front of the Renault does have airbags.
It also has anti-intrusion bars at the base of the windshield, which are designed to protect passengers in case of a side collision.
The Renault has more legroom than the Tata with enough space for all five passengers. In contrast, there isn’t much legroom in the Tata due to its small size;
you may not be able to sit comfortably if you’re tall or have long legs. The trunk area is comparable on both cars, but the Renault can fit 454 liters of cargo while the Tata can only fit 350 liters.

1.) Buying experience of new 2020 Tata Nexon is good because with its upgraded engine is now marginally peppier and smoother than before, but the hesitant power delivery does affect low-speed driveability.
