Affordable European Underwear: Reviewing Intimissimi Men Cotton Boxers
Who doesn’t love to visit Europe, and see its culture and beauty? And the ancient city of Italy. Intimissimi is a clothing brand based in Italy and is the manufacturer of innerwear for men and women. Most of the intimissimi men’s cotton boxers are in solid color. And have a different color sticking line to look great and sets it apart from the other men’s cotton boxers.
Review of Intimissimi men’s cotton boxers
- Length: Keep in mind that “boxers” refer to trunks, as Intimissimi is Italian and so European. These trunks are just longer than standard briefs and are square-cut trunks when worn. you can have an idea of its length by seeing the model wearing the men’s cotton boxers, but I was astonished when I first received them. These trunks appear to be considerably shorter than they are! If you’re looking for trunks, keep in mind that they’re square-cut and shorter than American-style trunks.
- Price: They are usually between $10 and $20, however, Intimissimi frequently offers sales. When the deals come around, you may easily stock up on all of these. Free shipping minimums for shipping to the United States can be rather large, so stocking up during a sale can save you money on postage. You can buy boxers for men to get the more exciting offer online.
- Hues and Patterns: The colors of Intimissimi cotton boxer for men are my favorites. The two-tone color scheme, with a solid color for the cloth and a highlight color for the stitching, is fantastic. I enjoy mixing contrasting colors in everything, not just underwear. The contrast between the stitching and the rest of the underwear also reaches the sweet spot for my eyes. Intimissimi offers a wide range of color combinations, making it simple to choose color combinations that you’ll love. I Dark blue fabric with light blue stitching and dark grey fabric with olive green stitching are the two pairs have.
- Composition and Fabric: These boxers are made of a cotton combination of 93 percent cotton along with with7% elastane, as the label suggests. These boxers aren’t as “heavy” as boxer briefs made of 96 percent cotton and 4 percent elastane, but they’re still too thick for my tastes. Nonetheless, the elastane content is adequate for the price range and gives enough elasticity for basic men’s cotton boxer briefs or trunks. Cotton trunks from Intimissimi are an excellent everyday option, but you might want to examine additional options for special situations:
You should go for modal or bamboo underwear for men if you are looking for light underwear. Calvin Klein modal boxer briefs and Seperatec bamboo briefs are my particular favorites. I don’t think you can beat modal or bamboo for lying about! Here are some examples (you may find more on my interactive app Find Your Ideal Pair)
The high cotton content of Intimissimi’s cotton boxers will absorb sweat if you’re working out or sweating profusely. These cotton boxers for men, for example, were drenched with sweat all over when I was cutting the grass a while ago. In these instances, wearing polyester or micro modal underwear pairs is preferable because the materials are quick-drying.
- Flys: The flies aren’t working. If you’re used to wearing Hanes or American Eagle cotton boxers for men, you might be surprised to learn that they don’t have a fly. However, as I explained. I ultimately grew accustomed to no-fly underwear and no longer consider it while making purchases.
- Penis Pouches: Intimissimi’s men’s underwear includes penis pouches, which I think are essential. Although the non-separated pouches lack the bells and whistles of other manufacturers, this isn’t required at this price point.
- Branded Waistbands: The waistbands on all Intimissimi men’s cotton boxers are branded. However, depending on the color scheme you select, the logo can be quite prominent or almost undetectable (such as the black-on-black color scheme). Despite the obvious branding, I consider Intimissimi’s logo to be pretty peaceful (yeah, a strange sensation), and I am fine with it. The logos on the cotton boxers for menare smaller than those on the Intimissimi microfiber line, which cover the majority of the waistband width. Furthermore, because Intimissimi is a European brand that most Americans are unfamiliar with, some individuals may be inquisitive about what you are wearing.
The waistband of Intimissimi is slightly shorter than that of “regular” waistbands. The majority of men’s underwear has a 1.5-inch (3.8cm) waistband, while some wider waistbands can reach 2 inches (5.1cm). The waistband of Intimissimi is 1.25 inches shorter (3.2cm). Low-rise underwear requires a narrower waistband, especially if you don’t want your underwear waistline to show above your trousers.
- Multipack: all the above-noted quality intimissimi men’s boxers come at a great price range. Which is neither too cheap nor too high. You can get one pair at $ 1, and a pack of 3 at 30$.
To buy boxers for men or not, from intimissimi?
If you buy online boxers for men from intimissimi, American eagle, and Hanes, you will find them somewhere similar, just the difference is the thin waistline with an Italian twist. But If I have to talk about the color of these products compared to their counterparts, they will win the game. I also appreciate the pricing, especially when it’s on sale, so it’s not such a difficult decision.
On the other hand, I think these “boxers” are excessively short. I prefer trunks that are 2″ to 3″ in length, similar to boxer briefs but with shorter legs. While I’ve lately begun wearing briefs, these trunks are far too “baggy” to be considered briefs.
These are perfect for enthusiasts of square-cut trunks. Everyone else should be aware of how short they will be once they are on. Alternatively, Intimissimi’s Supima Cotton briefs are available.
Overall, these trunks are great for square-cut trunk fans who want to stock up or have a rainbow of color options in their collection. They’re appropriate for those who already wear cotton blend underwear with at least 92 percent cotton, such as Hanes or American Eagle, but want to add some color. If you prefer lightweight materials, such as modal, which is my preference, or need underwear for high-sweat circumstances, you should check out Intimissimi’s microfiber range, which I like! – or any other polyester-based material.
