Whether you are an experienced housewife or just starting out in your cooking, good kitchen utensils and nice appliances can make your life easier and make cooking relaxing activity. Healthy eating is based on the principle of a wide variety of natural foods, which can be combined and prepared in various ways. For this you will need to have a perfect oven (how to choose it?).
When you have the useful right appliances in your cozy kitchen, your cooking time is reduced, monotony disappears and your creativity takes flight.
Vegetable spiralizer
If you are bored with the classic salads and feel that it is time to become much more creative, you need to try the high quality vegetable spiralizer, which you can find both in the manual version and in the electric version.
Don’t think of it as another appliance that needs to be placed somewhere in the kitchen cupboards, but think of the major benefit it brings: you can create new dishes, from vegetables that you can serve raw (with maximum nutritional benefits), which you would otherwise only consume in cooked form – pumpkins, beets, carrots, celery, sweet potatoes, etc. With the spiral vegetables, you can replace the classic pasta, adding delicious sauces. By the way a lot of great recipes you can find here.
Blender and mixer
The blender is simply that appliance that cannot be missing from your kitchen if you are determined to eat healthy. Whether it is in the small version or in the large version (if you cook in larger quantities), it is a reliable daily aid for a very wide range of recipes, from simple smoothies, to ice cream, vegetable milk, sauces, dressings, raw vegan soups, compositions for pancakes, etc. If you don’t have a blender yet, I recommend a small one that takes up little space and is quick to clean.
Are you wondering why you would even need an upright blender if you already have the first variant of the blender? This type of blender is optional, but it is very welcome in almost any kitchen. You can use it with confidence when you want to turn your soup into a creamy soup, in just a few minutes, without having to cool it beforehand and without dirtying another 2-3 dishes.
Hint: if you have children who “fish” for the vegetables in the soup and turn their noses up at the sight of them, the vertical blender can help you make them “invisible” and make sure they get where they are needed. Purees are also friends of the vertical blender.
Manual/electric vegetable chopper
This appliance is one of the first investments in my kitchen, although I was initially wondering whether or not it would be worth the money. It helps me save time, especially when it comes to a larger amount of vegetables, chopping thoroughly and ultra quickly everything I entrust to it. Moreover, it also helps me to get creative when I want to test different variations of salads.
One of them includes shredded cauliflower or broccoli and is simply delicious. I also use the chopper when I want to chop seeds or chop nuts to add to a dessert top. The chopper can be manual or electric, for me the electric version was the winner, especially since it is small and does not take up much space in the kitchen cupboard.
